A real visionary when it comes to what I want to give to the industry, from the Southside of Chicago, Roseland area, 116th & Stewart to be exact, it was giving to me by a female friend of mine, everybody in the streets called me Killa V basically from being a product of my environment & my 1st initial in my 1st name.

What influences you in making Hip Hop music?

I grew up in the culture, & like most my family have a deep background in music grandmother & aunt performed on soul train once back in the day, but my main attraction was hearing songs my close cousin recorded & how gifted he was with being naturally talented.

Describe your music, and what separates you from other MCs?

My music is basically an open book to my daily life, the way I talk about the streets, women, money, partying, that’s how I live my real life, it’s just turned into lyrics, so probably would like me, if you like my music.

The thing that separates me from other artists is when you from Chicago & the environment that I’m from everything you do is real & it will spill into your music instantly, most Chicago artist are more real then their music, to the point that other cities is just making street music, while we really living it.

Who have you collaborated with? Who would you like to collab with in the near future?

I done worked with Chicago artists mainly, Bo Deal(brick squad Monopoly) Mikkey Halsted(Def Jam), Sasha Go Hard & a few more & also had a verse on a song that Luda was on, I would probably only want to work with few artist that I won’t mention so it can be a surprise when I do get the opportunity…

What is your true definition of “Underground Hip Hop”?

Is the pure form of street music, urban culture, where you would see artists in their rarest form.

Can you give us a brief description of the creative process of You Willin? And how was the experience shooting that Video? Good or Bad?

I wanted to make a stripper song but I didn’t want it to be the normal raunchy type, & I was thinking off the movie Player’s Club & how Jamie Foxx had special songs for Diamond.

(Lisa raye) The video was good & bad the director was late, few models left the shoot, everything that went wrong did, but the editing process made up for it so I guess it was all worth it…
