Project Review: NICK SPEED: A DAY IN THE LIFE (Documentary) / The resurgence of Detroit’s hip hop music scene

Carl Ballou is a great Documentary Maker who recently launched his latest project titled ” Nick Speed:A DAY IN THE LIFE (Documentary) / The resurgence of Detroit’s hip hop music scene.  A documentary for every Hip Hop fan, Carl takes you inside the rugged urban Detroit Hip Hop scene following around one of the most respected producers in that area.  Nick Speed is known to be working with G-Unit, Danny Brown and many others all from Detroit.  It’s a great perspective look from the outside in, Nick Speed doesn’t make it look easy, staying productive at all times even with his accomplished resume he still works on his craft on a daily basis.

We all know and have seen the movie “8 Mile” ft Eminem but of course it’s all Hollywood, so being able to have a documentary like this allows every viewer to jump right into the reality of Detroit.  Nick Speed really represents Detroit to the fullest and clearly he was a perfect choice to star in this project.  We recommend every Hip Hop fan to watch this documentary.  Its true education rather then staying consumed in that commercial shit……………@UGHHBLOG
