Mixtape Review: “Classic Occasion” By Rob Deech

Rob Deech‘s “Classic Occasion” Mixtape has really brought back the real Underground Hip Hop sound for 2014.  Perfecting the mix of hardcore lyrics, cohesive music, classic Hip Hop sounds and raw talent that has always held real indie Hip Hop to the highest standards.  His voice is truly unique, every verse he spits is articulate, smooth & aggressive at the least we can say. Also we have to mention the great beats on this mixtape from producers such as Cash Jorden, Lexi Banks, Tony Fadd + more.  Honestly a producer that instantly stood out to me was Curtiss King, one of the best indie Hip Hop producers in the SoCal area and BTW a great friend of mind.  It makes me feel real good the Rob Deech is working with kats like Curtiss King who is highly respected in my personal BLOG circle and to see the I.E. and New Jersey connect is truly a humbling feeling.

He accompanies this mixtape with a vicious music video titled “Just Go” which really blew me away when I saw it for the first time.  The quality of the video is outstanding, with a great visual to what the song is about perfecting the art of making real music videos.  And let’s be real, a great song will always make a video 10x better,  that’s what all real talented artists do compared to the trash we come across on a daily basis.  With 18 songs that can have anyone become a real fan, Rob Deech allows his diversity of songs to speak for itself and show the world that pushing a 18 track mixtape could and should be FIRE from beginning to end……………………@UGHHBLOG
