Album Review: Substance – “OSOM” (outta sight outta mind) 2015
Substance possibly just delivered on of the best Underground Hip Hop albums for the last chapter of 2015 titled “OSOM” (outta sight outta mind) . His originality, cadence, song structure is truly at an all time high. Most importantly the substance is profound from track to track. Reigning out of Tuscan AZ he has literally put that city on the map. Lyricism is so important in this game separating the men from the boys so for this project he really shitted on his competition. “Everything Changed” Ft. Skeezo Prod By Genius really blew me away when I listened to it. It gave me a soothing feeling really making me appreciate his music.
This album consists of 15 solid tracks for all of Hip Hop to enjoy, from your average fan to even a dope MC, this project is a serious listen and possibly an all time CLASSIC for the AZ scene. He speaks on his life, situations and overall passion on this Hip Hop game in this project. In my opinion the dopest track on this album is “POW”, gave me the creeps and it is a straight up BANGER. Overall this album is a true game changer for Arizona Hip Hop!! His sound and music is exactly what Hip Hop needs nowadays!!
