Tell us a little about yourself. Where are you from? How long have you been making Hip Hop?

I was born and raised in Boston lived in many neighborhoods Jamaica Plain aka JP, Brighton and Southie. I’m a big Celtics and Sox fan hit round 15 games a season.

I started with Hip-Hop at age 13. I actually started as a graf writer and a DJ. Really got into bombing with the trees and 40’s you know. Bought my 1st pair of Technics 1200s at age 16. Learned to scratch and Juggle. On another note I recorded this whole album at my crib with an AKG 414 mic and learned logic myself to save the recording prices. I started freestyling at 18 for probably 8 yrs I never wrote jus freestyled. So lets say 20ys with the elements.

How were you able to link up with legends such as El Da Sensei & Cappadonna? Also did you burn them on the tracks or do you feel they burned you….lol?

With El and Cappa I opened for Artifacts in 2010 and Kicked it with their DJ, DJ Kaos in NYC. So to get those 2 features I used FB jus networking man it’s not hard and I’m not on a label to help. For the rest of the features I had friendships with all them. Peace to Tragedy Reks Edo DL Seek M-Dot and AL-J. I started working on the project in 2011 after years of Crack cocaine abuse alcoholism, and pain killers so I came back hungry after getting clean for a year in a FL halfway house. When I got home I met with Edo in 1st week the Boston Legend who paved the way for many artists here.

Describe your music, and what separates you from other east coast MCs?

On the East Coast or all Hip-Hop in the world I respect the roots before corporations, advertising, and TV watered down the product making it mainstream. I feel like the radio besides XM is the enemy, 88.9 which was the real hiphop in Boston emerson station cut their product unfortunately. I hope the younger Mc’s understand what hip-hop is instead of just trying to be a rapper to make bread. I’m not 1 of those Mc’s stuck in the 90’s the golden era yes sir, but we have to progress and evolve for hip-hop to survive. Theres numerous dope albums dropping just got to dig in the crates.

Who are you top 5 MC’s & Producers?

My Top 5 MC’s its very difficult changes monthly lol.
1. Big Pun 2 Nas 3 KRS-One 4 Black Thought 5 Raekwon 6 AZ
producers 1 Premier 2 Large Pro 3 Muggs 4 Pete Rock 5 9th Wonder

Your definition of “Underground Hip Hop”?

Underground hip-hop is kind of misconception theres quality hip-hop and shit what our society listens to. The main focus if you have your audience, fans and tour Europe and Japan who knows whats good then you’re keeping the culture real and authentic thats how I see it we all want fame so underground shouldn’t describe real hip-hop

What made you work with all these producers for this 1 project. Usually dudes tend to stick with 1 or 2 producers for an album.

With the producers I worked with my people. shout to Explizit One check the credentials crazy skillz. Relentless very underrated as a producer and MC. Matty Trump my homie that mixed and mastered everything I went out to LA for a month for that. He’s from Boston so we worked for years. Check mixandmastermysong.com can really help people get there work sound pro.

Tell us a little bit about the concept and idea behind your Album Cover?

The album cover jus made sense. Coming from years of drug abuse and violence I shot it at Lynn train station. The image I feel composed but ready to go if it pops off. That was a great day for me sober shooting the photos. shout out to Alex Grigoryan on that.

So the title I want mine not avoiding confrontations but looking for peace of mind. I keep my circle tight. I got stories for days but I don’t glorify that life. you learn from your mistakes especially with trust. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger so you gotta take it 1 day at a time and fight the struggles. I don’t drug anymore jus meds prescribed for my bipolar disorder. No complaints man I’m making music from the heart.
