Album Review: “Believe” EP By D.P. Da Prophet

New music out the DMV!  Richmond, Virginia based artist D.P. Da Prophet just released his new project, “Believe” EP featuring underground heavyweights Skyzoo, Skyzoo, Saigon, Nitty Scott MC, Sean Brown & David Blayne. Really glad to come across great storytellers like D.P.. Throughout the whole project he takes his fans inside some of his life experiences, explains his grind in the industry, and he pays homage to many Hip Hop greats in the song, “For Hip Hop” featuring Saigon & Sean Brown we recently posted a few days back.

A track we really need to highlight off the EP is “Good Morning America”, a refreshing take into the current political climate we are in. We definitely agree with D.P. when he wishes America a “Good Morning” since many times this country does feel like it’s meant to bury us, you just have to keep your head up, keep staying positive, and make a difference. Every track on the project has a message that can influence anybody.

Production wise, “Believe” is packed with action packed producers like Nate Rhoads, Justin Jay Beats, TellingBeatzz, Tone Jones, SK Beats, Andrew Hypes, and Da Saintz. Make sure to peep the self titled intro track, it’s one of personal favorite tracks. He reminds all of us that we always need to believe in everything we do, and it’s nothing wrong to live with a little hope in our lives.
