Album Review: Money Scorseze – “Progression” The Life Project

Money Scorseze is a rising indie Hip Hop artist who just delivered his latest album “Progression” The Life Project.  Its consists of 18 tracks, incorporating serious lyrics, storytelling and substance.  This project allows listeners to follow his life starting with track 1 “Tell Me What U Want” Ft. D1 and ending with track 18 “Penthouse Reflections”.  His style is very effortless, hearing his confidence with every line yet at the same time appreciate his wordplay and great range in vocabulary.  Most importantly he speaks on issues that are important to him, you might not label him as a political rapper but more as a conscious rapper.

It’s great that I can’t compare him to anyone else, he is really original offering a new sound a perspective on what new Hip Hop is really all about.  “Progression” equals growth and moving forward for Money Scorseze and for anyone out there that needs some motivation to move forward then this album is for you.  “In The Night” is probably my favorite track, the beat is amazing and his words are truly motivating and I’m sure others can relate.  Money Scorseze is a MC that can change the world. It’s just a matter of time!!

“For The Record” sums up exactly how Money Scorseze looks at this world!!
