When did you decide to start making Hip Hop? Who influenced you?

I started making music sometime in 2001 just out the blue one day.. My mother influenced me she always had music in the house She a hip-hop head she had paid in full on vinyl. I’m from Rochester ny aka Roctown.. The response been great I been around for a while so people pretty much know I deliver whenever I release music.

How did you get the name IllaNoise?

I got the name from one of my favorite movies hoodlum.. it just stood out to me so I ran with it.

Congrats on the success of your latest album “East Coast Aint Dead”. Feel free to breakdown the creative process of the project. (features, production, etc). Is this your first project?

Thanks.. Took me about a year roughly to create the project..First I come up with a title then I create theme music to fit the title Thats the process to all my projects. I got my team on their da cloth and the production is mainly a variety of local producers from around the way.

Who are you top 5 MC & Producers?

Top5 personal artists.. nas, az, jadakiss styles p, prodigy

Top 5 producers.. Dr Dre, Premier, Havoc, justice league, the hitmen…

Planning on releasing any videos to complement your album?

Yea I’m a shoot a couple of visuals from the project.. top 5 video is out now

Right off the bat we noticed your enormous talent on the MIC. How do you feel about being not only an MC but a Dope very talented MC?

I feel being a dope mc comes from being a great student I study the culture very carefully all regions..

Are you planning on collaborating with anyone in the near future?

I’m always open to collab hopefully i get to work with some of my top 5 I mentioned earlier

What is your definition of “underground hip hop”?

Raw music Thats not mainstream and has yet to be heard by the masses
