JustIn Hale – “Love x Obligations” EP (Review)
JustIn Hale drops probably one of the deepest EP’s for 2016. His latest project “Love x Obligations” EP has a profound feeling, delivering some solid Hip Hop with much substance and content. His voice is what stands out the most, it really can hang right there with some of the greats in the game. Let’s keep in mind that according to JustIn himself, he had a 2-year hiatus from the studio so hearing this really goes to show he had a lot to release from his mind. We respect the fact that this whole project truly relates to its title “Love & Obligations”, having to juggle these 2 powerful feelings is hard enough for any indie artist nowadays. But clearly JustIn Hale has overcome all obstacles by dropping this classic indie EP.
The production is flawless from front to back, these hard-hitting beats adapt well for JustIn Hale style with his smooth delivery and Trap/Conscious style. His singing talent is the “icing on the cake” when is comes to his flexibility and range as an indie artist. Let’s pinpoint a few tracks that we feel really shine on this EP. “Juice” is a great starter track for this project, along with “Sativa” which caters to all those real smokers out there. Finally, the hardest hitting track is “I Want It All“, all we had to say is, WOW! The beat on this track is CRAZY!! Overall this project has to be circulated throughout the online community ASAP!
This can’t be slept on so we recommend everyone to support and listen this project today from front to back! I don’t want to leave out his talented features, much respect to Flip, Donny Beats, TrellGotWings, Juss Lu, CamGotHits, Vintage Beats, Bob Rabbit & Mark Murille. These dudes contributed some of the dopest beats we have heard for 2016!
