CypherCircuit – “In With The Plug: Vol 1” (Mixtape Review)
Now this mixtape is truly one of a kind!!! Cypher Circuit has definitely been on the rise in 2017, showcasing some of the best indie/underground artists from all around the nation! Delivering exposure on an extremely high level, specifically helping members of the hip-hop culture stay relevant in an ever-evolving industry. They recently announced the first edition of #InWithThePlug, a monthly Hip Hop mixtape, hosted by DJ Bone Intell (@boneintell on IG @jwilliams8151 on SoundCloud) featuring some of the best Cypher Circuit members! It includes 15 tracks, all refreshing new tracks tailored for the hardest of heads and Hip Hop enthusiasts, who only care about DOPE HIP HOP, plain and simple.
Did I mention that this mixtape is available for FREE as well on Souncloud, so there really is no reason for you to not listen to this and give it a shot. I have already become a fan of Sir Calloway, Joey Dynomite and my favorite artist that is featured, Jace The Truth!! All these artists I’ve never heard of before, just goes to show real Hip Hop is still more alive than ever before. I really can describe this mixtape as a solid filter, vetted MC’s that only deliver credible Hip Hop from front to back! To be honest, after listening to this mixtape, I had to dig deeper and I actually went on youtube and checked out a few of these dope cyphers! Man, I am extremely proud of Cypher Circuit for contributing to Hip Hop in 2017, much-needed content right here, directly shitting on all the wack mainstream Hip Hop we are all surrounded by.
Christopher Walken aka Thoughts – No Pressure, this track right here really hit me hard, brought me back to when I was really a heavy underground Hip Hop head. Dude spit nothing but BARS on this one. Man!!!, can’t express myself enough that this is definitely a mixtape to check out. I’m actually looking forward to the next mixtape and I’ll for sure subscribe to their YouTube channel to stay updated with new cyphers coming out!
