D-Tay – “Real Money” (Single Review)

Up and coming Saint Louis based Hip Hop artist D-Tay recently released his latest single “Real Money” via Endless Records.  Not really my cup of tea, but he definitely goes off on this track, obviously he is representing that flossy life, pushing what some hardcore Hip Hop purest’s would call “ignorance” but lets understand that his influences might not be your influences!  Being a product of your environment, listening and being influenced by that deep Saint Louis sound, you cant blame the kid if he is aiming for the top and this is his own version of what “Underground Hip Hop” is for him!

At least he is pushing competitive music that can grab the attention of that market.  Give it a listen and trust, you wont hate on the kid, much respect to D-Tay!!  I just hope he owns all that materialistic shit, rather than renting luxury cars, wearing fake jewelry and pretending to be someone he is not.  Too many frauds in the game today!! That being said, at the end, it’s a goal for all indie artists to be able to sustain a career in the Hip Hop business, so lets see where D-Tay goes next for the year of 2017!
