-When did you start making Hip Hop?  & Who influenced you?
GK started making hip hop in 2011. There’s a big difference between Hip Hop and Rap, and when GK first started out doing anything related to either of those, it was freestyling. GK never wrote or anything. But when GK first started trying real hip hop was definitely when he was in Boot camp. He used to battle and freestyle with MC’s from all over the place man it was crazy. He was the only one from PGH too. That’s where he really started to notice nobody sounded like him. Influences… its typical, but always been a Biggie fan, GK knew all his songs when he was like 10. (haa) But there’s also Jay Z, The Beastie Boys, 2Pac, Canibus, Public Enemy, and just about all 90’s music. GKs pops had all the good shit. But then he started liking other sounds like 50 Cent, Camron, Bun B, Lil Wayne, Ludacris, Slim Thug. Now GK expanded his music library to people like, Sublime, Ozzie, Bob Marley, and Jimi Hendrix.. ya know? Good stuff like that. GK isn’t just influenced by a couple. He’s influenced by “GOOD” music.
-What made you take Hip Hop from a hobby to a profession?  Was is a certain influence, a life experience, a collab?
GK can thank his hypeman Kali and cousin Mike for that one. One day we were in GK’s Kia Soul smokin listenin to some of his old shit, they really appreciated his work and encouraged him to get the fuck out of the Army and really stick with the music and take it to another level.
-What are your goals with music for the next 3-5 years?
GK doesnt usually set long term goals, but if he did it would defly be to take his team to the top, be included in the BET cypher, go on his own tour, be interviewed by Nardwaur, haha.. you know? Just trying to be involved with the top names in music period really, maybe some awards. Who knows?
-Give us some background and details on your recent release, Wrath of Sensei Danielson?
Sensei Danielson is one of the many alter egos that GK goes by. It was created on the count of being a young dude (Like Danielson from Karate Kid) but being capable of putting words together and going on beats with precision like a master, therefore Sensei. So the whole point of this EP was to express the capability to go over some different type of beats, that the average person wouldn’t, especially in his city (PGH). It’s more hip hop based. There’s definitely messages on every track, you just have to listen.

-Seeing that you have music videos, how important is it to come out with visuals with your music?
Visuals are very important to GK, ones appearance attracts fans sometimes more then lyrics, sad but true, but GK wants to take a different approach with his visuals. Nothing common like the strippers, cars, and money involved themes, but videos with a message to follow the lyrics. He doesn’t want to be none for having “swag” or none of that. Don’t get GK wrong cuz the mojo is on point, but he wants you to feel his passion for the art of music. Feel me?
-Any future works, collabs, partnerships, or affiliations?  Who would you like to collab with if you had a choice of 3 MCs or producers?
Yeah defintely, GK is workin with a handful of PGH artists, none really out of state yet. GK is affiliated with Choo Jackson of Most Dope. That’s his nigga yo he’s mad cool. GK has talked to a couple big names like MC Eiht, Mod Sun, Project Pat, Cheif Keef, and Mac Miller, but would defintely love to work with MC Eiht, GK’s dad is a big fan of him so growing up he played him alot in the whip. That would be crazy cause he’s a veteran in the game. In the future GK would defly like to work with. Hmmm. He’ll have to defly say TDE, Mos Def, and Wiz tho man. And producers. GK would have to say Young Chop, Kanye, and The Alchemist.
-Do you plan to travel or take your music to other states, or cities? (If you havn’t done so already)
Hell yeah man, so far we’ve only got a chance to get involved with Maryland, South Carolina, Alabama, Virginia and Philly, but GK is definitely going to travel more to get out there, LSD plans on goin to Los Angeles, New York, Flordia. That’s the main, but there will be more, trust.
