The Hot Soup NYC @ PIANOS Jan 17th 2015…KB Jones & The Kontraband + More (Food Rescue)

January 17th 2015 (New York, NY) — KB JONES AND THE KONTRABAND in association with VIS A VIS is honored to announce THE HOT SOUP at Pianos New York on Saturday, January 17th 2015 at 9:00 PM. The Kontraband will be lighting up this LES stage again along side The Rising Sun All Stars, Kenny Shane and The Blancos. The Hot Soup NYC has chosen to partner with Food Bank NYC for this event in which cans of food that are donated at the door will be delivered to hungry New Yorkers. The event will be 21+ and tickets will be available online at www.ticketweb.com and at the door for $15. Guest’s who donate a can or any other non-perishable food item will be eligible for a $10 admission of.

THE HOT SOUP is the brainchild of KB JONES AND THE KONTRABAND while the event was further articulated and procured by Dan Mullins. A crusade was in need to circumvent NYC’s stale and dated music scene by developing an irresistible all night experience. Shifting away from the nightlife scene where venues have to hound patrons to come back.  Bands and their fans often file in and out of venues every hour, left with a void or a pseudo scene of fulfillment. A new scene will be conceived that molds guests into a loyal and valued patron.
