Blahzay Blahzay – “Blah Blah Blah” (Album Review)

As soon as this album hit my speakers I thought raw HIP-HOP at it’s finest, I felt the Brooklyn streets in the 1990s,”Blahzay Blahzay” was able to capture the atmosphere with a raw HIP-HOP dungeon vibe from the jump, Showing why they are legendary in a sense. “Blah Blah Blah” the album can easily go down as an underground classic. The rhythmic raw flow is one you can sit back and just let roll off the beat; insightful words, rhyme patterns, and golden era God flows. This is the type of album you find in the back of the crate and it becomes a new favorite. The Single “Danger” shows off Mc Outlouds wordplay ability, for sure a lyrical slaughter feat Wu-Tang affiliate La Dark Man ,Smoothe Da Hustler and Trigger The Gambler! This will serve well for HIP-HOP enthusiast and fans of the golden era, you can play these tracks in the same playlist as The Wu-tang Clan and Mobb Deep, and still visualize the trenches of the New York streets.

21 years later, after its original release it still contains the gritty right off the block feel from ’96. Now the group plans on distributing 1000 copies Spring 2017. Tuff Kong Records will be releasing the album on 2LP, re-mastered for vinyl and featuring the original artwork as a limited edition run. More updates will be announced soon, including an official release date and pre-order information. https://tuffkongrecords.bandcamp.com/album/tkr003-blahzay-blahzay-blah-blah-blah
