Yo Reggie Rare!! We are blessed to be able to get exposed to your great Hip Hop music, especially being from Palmdale, CA!! Please tell us a bit about yourself? How long have you been making Hip Hop!
Appreciate the love fam! I been making hip-hop for about 2 years now
We noticed you are 100% in tune with the real underground/conscious style of Hip Hop. Being WOKE as we say is he best way to create raw music from the inside! We love what the EP is all about! Please let us know the influence behind your style and mission statement behind your music…
Some of my influences are Andrea 3000,Nas , jay , big l , ll cool j , those are just a few to many who influenced me tho. The statement behind my music is the culture of hip- hop itself and the true meaning of hip-hop and just music period, and how being your self you can overcome anything for-real when you put your mind to the test.
Tell us about the underground Hip Hop scene out there in Palmdale, CA? Is it growing or is it stagnant! What is your take on this… We really don’t come across a lot of artists from out there!
For the hip-hop scene in Palmdale is not to big but that’s from my perspective of things
And what I noticed from my town but that’s why I’m here to change that ! It is growing everyday tho I can tell you that .I talk to more and more kids from the dirt saying they want to become a rapper.
Let’s face it, social media since 2015 has grown tremendously, especially IG!!! Tell us how is your IG grind looking, and how have you been able to keep up with the high demand on social media?
I don’t really know the Exact answer to that question just off I look at social media more like a job so getting on and posting something is the grind I guess.
Please breakdown the creative process of your new EP? Any music videos in the works?
To be honest I have no one set way how I Get my ep done for the fact everything that’s on the ep is just facts about my life and some people who can relate to what I’m saying .
I am working on a couple of videos One is Rhymes, another one is Dale and last is Hurtful. Also Catch me Smokin is out now
How often do you perform live?? Any indie DIY tours in the works?
I perform like 10 times out of a month so I would say I perform often. And yea I’m look in to going to Washington Oregon, also chi town.
How do you feel about the whole XAN & LEAN trend these kids nowadays are on!!!..LOL??? Be honest, do you use some of that stuff??..LOL
I feel like that’s where hip hop is failed because that’s where it starting to derive from but no never have and never will.
What you got cooking next? Anything special for late 2018!!??
What I got cookin? Is my new single that drops dec 12 off my next ep which will drop January 3 under the circumstances
