K-Blitz – “Toxic Love” (Single Review)

Canada’s own K-Blitz drops a a new record called “Toxic Love” before listening to song I visualized what it would be about based on the covers aesthetic, I was especially impressed with Blitz song writing ability as I was able to inner-stand song and brand right off back. These are signs of a well rounded artist as you can feel the confidence in precision as the song continues.

K-Blitz explains throughout the song a toxic relationship were each side is on edge and ready to leave, They way he explained the poisonous relationship was able to show the listener a vivid picture of two people who dont understand why they love each-other. The Canadian artist shows off his story telling topped of with slick word play as the production to this record was right within pocket amplifying the stories perception. In 2016 K-Blitz won Hip-Hop album of the year followed by edmonton artist of the year 2018 & 2019, “Toxic Love” is a melodic song with overtones of heartbreak and moving on.

The next song in rotation is titled “Remix” featuring King Los this song had a high energy feel along with punk overtones. K-Blitz has a dynamic way of styling his music and no song seems to be like the other highlighting blitz song versatile. King Los comes hard as usual as he ends the song with a killer verse making this remix gold. I am now anticipating more music from K-Blitz as he continues to elevate his music statues year after year.
