K-Prez & J. Depina – “Flawless” (EP Review)

New Jersey spitter K-Prez teamed up with Rhode Island producer J. Depina for a short but sweet EP titled “Flawless.” The project is 5 tracks and runs about 15 minutes, but it is some quality work. K-Prez impresses with his honest street lyricism over some buttery boom-bap instrumentals constructed by J. Depina.

Highlights on this project for me were the title track “Flawless” featuring an extremely dope feature from Bless Picasso, and the soulful melodic boom-bap laced “Recoup” where we find K-Prez spitting no-nonsense bars from the soul is probably my favorite off the project. This is grown man rap for sure, K-Prez brings some real-world rap that any Hip Hop head can ride or vibe to, and when complimented by J. Depina’s production, it’s something to celebrate.
