Eager to show and prove, Cleveland recording artist Stoney Dudebro is riding a wave thanks to his current single, “6AM Freestyle” achieving over 100,000 streams on Spotify. Successful, Stoney provides a visual presentation for the track to further long the shelf life of the new hit.

On “6AM Freestyle” Stoney Dudebro gives us some smokey intimate studio session over a slappy yet chill instrumental by Tennessee producer, Owlspec. Accompanying the rising star is late-Model/Cannabis connoisseur Katie Ann Martin. The two share intimate convo, cannabis, and delicate treats. Through their chemistry, the hit comes into fruition.

Owlspec behind the board with a quickly digestible parlor-trick production. While could use some trendy southern ingredients from the producer’s Tennessee roots, the production is feasible based on the complete concept. Ideally made in mere moments, meant to be bone dry, the production is acceptable thanks to it’s suffice efforts.

Clearly Stoney has the fundamentals down when it comes to rhymes; however, nothing memorable comes from his presentation. From the title to the wordplay, to the predictable punchlines. Easily identified as light work and nothing noteworthy to attach to the rising star but at this stage, everything Stoney Dudebro unloads should leave a lasting impression. Light-hearted, familiar, and clout, Stoney Dudebro manages to peak our interest to receive a second chance to sell us on his brand.

It’s a freestyle, lackadaisical is expected when spontaneously regurgitating matching words off the top of the head. Enthusiastic, entertaining, humorous, “6AM Freestyle” is a considerable selection for any “munchie run” playlist. While the video is simply shot, the vibe is effective. Keeping that same energy, it will be interesting to see what Stoney Dudebro rolls up next.
