Mixtape Review: “In The Mean Time” by K.E.L.L.S (Oakland, CA)

K.E.L.L.S. released his 2nd mixtape back in October and we recently came across it and had to take a listen.  Def time not wasted! When you talk about the city of Oakland, many could automatically mention a handful of legendary artists who have paved the way for the great Hip Hop of today.  From the real 90’s sound we are use to hearing from that side of town, to the current state of Hip Hop, K.E.L.L.S belongs in the conversation with his 13 track mixtape “In the Mean Time”.  Front to back, this release is filled with bangers like Serenity, Sound System, K.E.L.L.s feat. R.O. Tudda – The Beginning.
