Emby Alexander deconstructs Kid Cudi’s track “Creepers” from G.O.O.D. Music’s “Cruel Summer” Album for Emby Alexander’s own EP: “Summer Blood or All The Parties I Wasn’t Invited To Anyway”
The song and video which are graffiti in themselves steals sound and visuals from Velvet Underground’s “All Tomorrow’s Parties”, Carl Sagan’s Cosmos, David Lynch’s Lost Highway, Pabst Blue Ribbon, Kid Cudi’s own music videos, Native American Navajo traditional music samples and Downtown Phoenix amongst many other things. Featuring model Aaron Brandon Robinson and directed by Trevvor Riley, both bring in their own influences from the Korean and Japanese titles to the ethereal and surreal ending sequence.
