Skipaturner – “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Wiggout” (Prod by. Noah Harvey)

Benjamin Sterne, nickname Skipaturner is from Brisbane, Australia. Born in Birmingham, UK, moved to the gold coast, Australia when he was 11 years old. He studied at the University of Brisbane. He raps with an american twinge to the accent, so he’s a bit of an oddity in the Aussie hip hop scene. He’s been listening to american influenced hip hop with his twin brother since he can remember. The music they listened to back then was artists such as Mos Def, Tribe Called Quest, Outkast. Recent artists, specifically Kendrick Lemar, and ASAP Rocky also influence his sound. He produces his own music and use other people’s instrumentals in the Brisbane area to write his raps.

Skipaturner wants to continue making music that is different, dark, smooth, jazzy, and a bit strange.
