Vance Shea Boakai (born July 17, 1984),[1] better known by his stage name ReBang, is an American hip hop recording artist from Trenton, New Jersey. ReBang, an original member of hip hop collective THCMG (also known as The Hoodlum Cartel), is also the CEO of THCMG, alongside childhood friend and fellow Trenton-based rapper Skrilla. ReBang is also a noted music video director under the pseudonym NONEOFYABIZZNESS, having directed videos for artists including Skrilla, S Doe, himself, and various other artist in the city. ReBang started from the typical battle scence before venturing off into song making delivering his catchy street athemns and lyrical content to make the pavement crack. He is also known for his destinctive voice and delivery. July 17 will be a day he drops his 2 official effort to the streets titled Cartel Livin’ which is dedicated to the passing of his little brother as well as a celebration of his birthday.
