Album Review: Icegrill – “BLACKCHALK”
Icegrill and his latest Album release “BLACKCHALK” its a perfect hand and glove fit. This sound really bleeds authentic East Coast Underground along with a modern fresh twist that only Icegrill could pull off. It’s not your usual dumb down bullshit, its extremely intellectual, full of substance and his lyrical delivery wordplay speaks for itself. What really caught my attention are his dope features like my homie Skyzoo & Chris Rivers and many other talented artists. I look forward on listening to these all premium features to honestly determine who out rhymes who, and to be honest Icegrill smokes all of them. Not to mention his solo tracks are fucken INSANE!!!. I had to listen to this whole project for a whole day to really appreciate his Hip Hop artistry.
Props to his choice of quality production and perfect mixing and mastering for this Album. Its take nothing less than a complete project like this to really take you to the top of the respect chart in the Underground game. I can tell he is doing HIM creating a solid original sound for the whole Nation can vibe to. EVERYONE!!!…. Please check out his Video with Skyzoo called “Pullin Strings” cause it wont disappoint.
