KAi Sky Walker releases “new mind | old soul [chapter 1]”, the first instalment in his innovative series that will see him explore and combine various genres over a 12-18 month period, showcasing his versatility as an artist. Chapter I, dubbed “Indie Bass” consists of eerie, samples (Lykke Li, Chelsea Wolfe, Blueneck) infused with heavy bass and 808s, provided by Astor.
KAi Sky Walker is an artist from Vancouver, BC, known for his prolific lyricism and delivery. He cites Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix, Jay-Z, The Beatles, Kanye West, Lenny Kravitz, Lil’ Wayne and Bill Withers as some of his top influences In 2013, he looks to shake up the music world with a completely unique, never been done release for his latest project, “new mind | old soul”.
