Mitchell James – “Patience” (Video)

Probably one of the dopest visuals we’ve seen so far in 2020, Mitchell James shares his groundbreaking new video for the song “Patience” directed and animated by Colorado’s most exciting young director, Director Ave. The video was organized and created over a span of 6 months to include 3 dimensional animations and live action performance that depicts James completing a heist aimed at retrieving the keys to success. The video takes viewers through an action packed journey that includes jumping out of helicopters, parachuting from the windows of skyscrapers, and a high speed police chase. These stunning visuals are accompanied by James‘gritty, aggressive bar work throughout the track. We plan to premiere Patience as soon as possible and hope to premiere it on a major music outlet.

Director Ave has shot videos all across the world and has spent thousands of hours teaching himself a swiss army knife of skills including cinematography, video editing, VFX, 3D modeling, texturing, and many other media-based skills. He has worked with Denver Hip-Hop legends Trayce Chapman and Trev Rich. This is the first video of its kind to be made in Colorado and throughout the world of hip hop.
