DJ M•ROK – “Beats4Daze” (Beat Tape)

For his follow-up release, Chicago-based boom bap producer DJ M•ROK releases his second beat tape titled “Beats4Daze“.

Phil Spector may have built the Wall of Sound, but DJ M•ROK enjoys bombing it with graffiti. Pounding boom bap beats, Bomb Squad-style noise, electric guitars, jazzy horns, vocal samples and more swirl together in a sea of echo. The result is the perfect canvas for DJ M•ROK to tear apart with his trademark arsenal of chirps, scribbles and stabs as he cuts up everything from gritty phrases to screaming sirens. This album is dedicated to the memory of Paul C. McKasty.
