We caught up with Jonny Storm in Los Angeles Ca back in April 2013 while he was on tour with MyVerse. He dropped a lot of knowledge regarding the Battle scene in Hip Hop & preparation for a Battle with our host Pawz One.
Jonny Storm is a world-renowned Hip Hop artist from Orlando, FL. Born and raised in Providence, RI, this young Dominican was naturally gifted in the art of rhyming. His passion for music grew and influenced his life as he embraced the pure essence of the Hip Hop culture. He has already created an incredible buzz through out the underground HipHop scene by facing off with livings legends in rap battles, live shows and music.
After winning the Red Bull “Road to 8 Mile” battle in Florida, and becoming a finalist in the first Red Bull Emsee “Road to 8 Mile” competition in Detroit hosted and judged by Eminem and a panel of celebrity judges in 2010, he was invited back the next year! Winning the Red Bull Emsee in Florida for a 2nd consecutive year in 2011, he will be returning to The Red Bull Emsee Finals taking place in Atlanta Summer of 2012!
In 2011 he won the Paid Dues Festival mc battle in California in front of over 40K fans! This was the largest stage battling has ever been taken to with Black Star, Slaughter House, Murs, Binary Star, Chino XL and many more. And in 2012 he again performed and Won at The Paid Dues Festival in California, alongside Wu Tang Clan, Mac Miller, Odd Future, Boot Camp Clik, Dip Set, 3 6 Mafia,Dilated Peoples, and many more.
Jonny Storm is a breath of fresh air in today’s Hip Hop. With music for all generations, he touches base with the lifestyles and issues of the new millennium. He brings fresh concepts to the table along with intricate lyrics and cinematic beats. Jonny Storm has created a household name within underground commmunity. With over 2,000,000(two million) views on Youtube and over 500,000 views worldstarhiphop, and performing in London and Sweden in 2012, his stock is only rising.

He’s recorded music with living legends such as AZ, Joel Ortiz, Freeway and Terminology.
