Big Pun’s Mother Prime Suspect In Bank Robberies

A Miami woman who was caught robbing a bank in South Florida late last month is believed to be the mother of none other than late rapper Big Pun.  Gail Simpson, 63, was apprehended by the Miami-Dade Police Department on Sept. 23 after she walked into a Wells Fargo branch at around 3:30 p.m. and demanded money from a teller. Simpson got off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

After she scampered off with the thick stacks, word began to circulate about Simpson’s true identity. Her real name is Gail Tirado, and she’s been in trouble for robbing a bank before. She’s currently on probation from a June attempted armed robbery conviction.
