Danny Matos Set To Release His New Album Titled “Nothing Without You”

Danny Matos is an Emcee and Poet from New York City where he was born and raised. His first project entitled “Nothing Without You” started off as an EP and became an album. His story isn’t the common one where he began writing at a young age. For him, the opposite is true. He harbored a dream inside of him for ten years before he began allowing himself to cultivate the passion he held inside. Dealing with depression, anger, and anxiety, he continuously allowed such darkness to overpower his dreams, but those same qualities inspired him to begin his own philosophical journey to both healing and finding purpose.

“Nothing Without You” is the beginning of a story through Danny’s eyes. The title is giving thanks to the people who will choose to listen and embrace the LYRICS. He is basically saying that he’s is nothing without the support of anyone he has or will come across. He feels artists often forget that important piece of the puzzle. This album is a narrative of a man as he sees himself as well as how he sees himself in others and the world. It encompasses a variety of topics that contribute to the human experience ranging from love and fear of loss to addiction, poverty, injustice, and self-sabotage.
