A few days ago, Wu-Tang Management posted an ad on craigslist in the New York area seeking a “Social Network Manager”. They are definitely looking to build on their social media following, and opportunities are opening for people looking to build on their portfolios, working for the legendary WU. The post clearly says “no compensation”, but I’m sure there are some perks and benefits doing PR work for them. Definitely a great internship opportunity if you are already in the promotion game. Their perfect candidate would be someone that is available for various events to document footage and pictures on social media outlets i.e facebook, twitter, instagram, etc.
Requirements:
Excellent written communication skills, with ability to communicate with diverse audiences
Interest in the music/entertainment industry
Professional demeanor
Experience with social networking (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Ning, Blogspot, etc.)
Well organized with attention to detail and ability to carry out tasks independently
Ability to meet deadlines
