Madlib Calls Out Haters On Making Beats With iPad For Bandana Album
A few days ago Madlib released a statement on Twitter about his new project “Bandana” with Freddie Gibbs mentioning he produced all the beats on a iPad. I’m sure many of his fans, like us, give him props for utilizing the newest technology out there for his production. Quiet frankly, we are not surprised since he is a musical genius with a consistent catalog dating back 2 decades.
I made all of the beats for Bandana on my iPad.

Apparently a few of his fans and purest don’t agree with his use of an iPad to make beats, as if the technology doesn’t exist. He point’s out in his latest tweet that “That iPad remark was just to say stop making excuses – use a tape deck if necessary. Technology is what you make it.”
Some of these niggas mad lmao. I’m gonna keep making good music I like. I’m gonna keep doin my thing till i’m 90. i’m gonna keep getting better. That iPad remark was just to say stop making excuses – use a tape deck if necessary. Technology is what you make it.
