I’m sorry to announce that Gustav Åhr, also known as Lil Peep has sadly passed away after a accidental overdose of Xanax, age 21. Born and raised in Long Island, NY to German, Irish and Swedish parents, Åhr was a upcoming rapper who got his start on SoundCloud making Lofi/Emo rap songs/mixtapes, his first mixtape, “Lil Peep Part One” released in 2015 to minimum success. He would release his first studio LP, “Come Over When You’re Sober” to success and was currently reaching the end of his tour to promote the album. It’s sad too see a rapper at a young age pass away, fuck the whole trash or fire thing, at the end of the day people will be affected for the rest of their lives from his passing so tonight I say salute to Lil Peep for his impact in Hip-Hop, check him out on SoundCloud to help support his family and friends and may he Rest In Peace.
