Ca$tro Bluntz – Q&A Interview
We’ve finally been able to catch up since you dropped the “Blutz N’ Bottlez” mixtape in November. Great to see the progress with the new music. For those who don’t know who you are, lets the community know.
For those who don’t know my name, I’m ca$tro bluntz. I’m from nawfside Atlanta and Im a upnorth southern that comes from nothing.
Who are some of the musical influences from your area you credit for your music.
I can’t flex, im influenced by Gucci, migos, young thug, playboi carti..I can keep naming but id never stop. I’m also influenced by smooth shit too ya feel me? I fucks with some 9th wonder, harry fraud type shit too, but niggas in the field aint tryna hear that. I’m not just a trap artist.
How is the Hip Hop scene in your area? How are you trying to make an impact?
The hip hop scene in Atlanta is amazing and its slick running the rap game at this moment. I’m trying to make an impact by putting out as much content I can to please my fans.
Talking about new music, you’re new single “Kylie Jenner”. How did the song come about? Who produced it?
When I made Kylie Jenner I didn’t even know it would cause so much hype as it did. I heard the beat and I thought it was cool, but nothing really too crazy. I freestyled it and dropped it to get feedback from my fans.
What do you want your fans to know about your music?
I want them to know that I be working my dick off. This aint no one hit wonder shit, you can see my catalog on how I’ve been perfecting my craft for years. I’ve been doing this all by myself with no help and I am continuing to do it by myself until the right opportunity comes.
Any future releases in the works?
I got hella songs in the vault and 2 projects im currently working on with other projects that are only being discussed about. Bluntz N Bottlez is still being pushed out, but im putting out new material for my loyal fans that are actually keeping up with me.
How would you like to work with in the future?
Sheeeessh…uhh there’s no point in naming because theres so much. Off the dome id work with Kanye, Playboi Carti, Father, chief keef, Jordin Sparks, and uhh shit give me Taylor Swift too.
A question that we hold in high regard, what’s your definition on Underground Hip Hop?
Underground hip hop is the music that’s real and can be bad depending on the artist, but if you find a great tape or song that nobody knows and no radio can overplay; it’s a beautiful feeling.
