GhOul – Q&A Interview

Tell us a little about yourself. Where you are from? How long have you been making Hip Hop?

My legal name is Lloyd McComb (Berry) I’ve been creating music since I was 8 years old. I began creating my own beats on Fl Studio when I was 12. I recorded my first Official song as “Decata Boi” titled “EASTSIDE” at the age of 15.

What influences you in making Hip Hop?

The artists who influenced me the most growing up and inspired me to be a music artist are as follows: Eminem, Tupac, Ice Cube,  Ludacris, T.I., Juvenile, and Crime Mob. Now my DRIVE to show my talent inspires me.

Describe your music, and what separates you from other MCs?

My music is the type you play on a road trip to keep you up. I combine Trap, realness, catchy hooks, and slick words to create a unique vibe when listening to “Da Gh0ul”. The music I create RIDES the beat. My voice, flow, lyricism, originality, style, dedication,  and delivery separates me from other MCs’ currently famous.

Who have you collaborated with? Who would you like to collab with in the near future?

Currently I have not worked with any major or semi-major artists. I would like to work with Eminem, Future, Migos, Tha Joker,  and Lil Wayne. Just to name a few.

Your definition of “Underground Hip Hop”?

Underground Hip Hop is music that doesn’t get the exposure it deserves.

Production wise, who are your influences? Who does your production?  And who would you like to work with?

Mike Will has really been a great producer for years and I would love to work with him. Currently producing my music is  a local Savannah producer named “JP” who works under “Razor Sharp Records”, but I don’t have an official producer as of now.

Any current or future projects you are promoting?

I’m currently promoting my hit single “Enta” which is a track on my upcoming 2nd Mixtape titled “Unknown Alert”. The Mixtape is scheduled for release July 31st.
