Tell us a little about yourself. Where are you from? How long have you been making Hip Hop?

I go by the artist name Hugó which is an origin of my last name (Huggins).I’m 25 years young hailing from Hartford,Connecticut.I’ve been creating music seriously since 2012.

What influences you in making Hip Hop?

My life,my struggles,and life in general.

Describe your music, and what separates you from other MCs?

My music is a combination of Hip Hop and Soca (on some tracks).I make feel good heart-felt music.What separates me from other MCs is I can dab into the Soca genre and I tell my actual life story.

Who have you collaborated with? Who would you like to collab with in the near future?

On this project I had 1 feature on track 16 (Shout out Mr.BuzzWorthy).I willing to work with anyone serious about their craft.

Your definition of “Underground Hip Hop”?

Underground Hip Hop is Hip Hop that isn’t mainstream

Production wise, who are your influences? Who does your production?  And who would you like to work with?

On this project I worked with Matcy P,Jae Monee,Void Beats,and a few other producers just to name a few.I would love to work with Pharell and Timbaland.

Any current or future projects you are promoting?

Currently I’m promoting Dómain Hugó;as well as,UNKrowned K.I.N.G.

Can you give us a brief description of the creative process of DOMAIN HUGO? Also/ tell us a little bit about the concept and idea behind your Album/Mixtape Cover Art.

The creative process behind Dómain Hugó was to be as honest with my music as possible.I wanted to give the listener a chance to know me as a person as well as an artist.
