I’m from Kingston,Jamaica. Been making hiphop for over 3 years.
Tell us about the underground Hip Hop scene out there where you are from? Is it growing or is it stagnant! What is you take on this…
HipHop scene in Jamaica is a small growing circle of Artist trying to do HipHop. The HipHop scene back home in Jamaica is growing, but not massive enough to breakthrough.
Let’s face it, social media since 2015 has grown tremendously, especially IG!!! Tell us how is your IG grind looking, and how have you been able to keep up with the high demand on social media?
I’ve just recently started closer attention to my IG. I’ve been creating a lot of content and crafting my sound in between time. I try my best to meet the demands of my fans where music is concern.
Please breakdown the creative process of your single? Where did you shoot the video?
The creative process was simple as me going into the studio and free styling what felt right at the time to say. I don’t write, I do it all in my head. That was a special night, it was the night that birthed Calories. The video was shot in Brooklyn,NYC.
How often do you guys perform live?? Any indie DIY tours in the works?
We took time off the road to settle into studio mode. We will be setting up shows later on.
How do you feel about the whole XAN & LEAN trend these kids nowadays are on!!!..LOL??? Be honest, do you use some of that stuff??..LOL
I don’t do drugs of any kind. I think kids should be more responsible and educate themselves on health, life is too precious.
What you got cooking next? Anything special for Summer 2018!!??
I’ve been working on a lot of singles for my Fans and potential listeners. Will be releasing a New Video & Music this month
Our most popular question, what is your definition of “Underground Hip Hop”?
I think underground hiphop is a pure untaped, raw and truthful place where most of the underdogs succeed. Underground hiphop to me cannot be defined by one single person but it can through all of us. It’s whatever feels underground for you.
