Album Review: Get Open – “The Week-End”

Finally an album worth reviewing by the super dope group called GET OPEN.  Their latest LP “The Week-End” has gained national and global recognition since its launch.  This group consists of 4 guys, VonMeista, Zook, Kiambu & SibaGiba.  Between the 4 they work together hand in hand, accomplishing a project that will go down as an instant classic.  There Rhymes & Beats are Top-Notch, headliner caliber and most importantly TRUE UNDERGROUND HIP HOP.  Their golden-era type sound is exactly what Hip Hop needs nowadays, showing these fake rapper kids how it’s really done.

This LP has 17 songs, and the last few tracks are cleaned out.  This no bull-shit Hip Hop people!!, from front to back you can hear their skills and experience working as a group.  Individually they all have great talent and can truly hold their own which is hard to say nowadays with so many trash Hip Hop groups out now.  Some songs we recommend checking out are “FRIDAY NIGHT”, “TAKE ME HOME” & “58 TWEETS”.  Overall this project a enjoyable listen, really something that could cater to any mood and situation throughout your day.  Supporting true Hip Hop is exactly what its all about and for GET OPEN they deserve all the support they can get.

My favorite track on this LP is “Churrasco & Micheladas”.  For all you Latino & Mexican Hip Hop heads
