Elijah The Poet, Omaure and Atvanz form Lonely Soldiers (Oakland, CA). “The Purple Heart Therapy” Album is Truly a classic Underground Hip Hop Album for all heads in 2014. Big respect to be able to sound so original and protect the integrity of Hip Hop with fresh beats, consious, lyrics with such a unique West-Coast flavor. Collaborating with a Hip Hop legend (Picasso of Living Legends obviously shows us that this group’s taste of Hip Hop is the true Underground Hip Hop flavor.
The mixing on this album reminded me of the Golden Era of Underground Hip Hop (Mid 90’s – Mid 2000’s) where almost every track you listen to makes you to always remember the song.
