Album Review: Marv Ellis and We Tribe – “Five For One”
The NorthWest Hip Hop scene has a new solid representative and his name is Marv Ellis. A much-needed talented Hip Hop artist out of Eugene, Oregon just made history with his latest collaboration with a band called “We Tribe”. Their latest album “Five For One” is a great Boom-Bap, Funky, Conscious & Raw Hip Hop project that incorporates live instrument sounds, allowing every Hip Hop head to really appreciate great music. Its 100% enjoyable from start to finish and honestly a masterpiece in our book. This Album has 17 song that will simply blow anyone out of the water. The Funk, band, dance element to this project really adds the icing on the cake for Marv Ellis’s Hip Hop contribution.
Marv Ellis’s rhyme skill is flawless. consistently articulate, on tempo and flips and mixes words like a true WORDSMITH. We hope he continues to incorporate We Tribe in his future projects that we are looking forward to listening too. This is a must collect for all real Hip Hop heads. This Album WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN FOR ONE SEC!!!
