Album Review: Old Boys Club “Revival Of The Real” By DJ Pressure
We don’t highlight much UK Hip Hop here at UndergroundHipHopBLOG.com, but when we do it’s definitely some real Hip Hop. After posting “Old Boys Club – Revival Of The Real” by DJ Pressure a week ago, we still haven’t stopped listening to it. In this album Pressure doesn’t hold back with the classic collaborations hitting us with 21 tracks on this one featuring appearances by Chuck D, DJ JS-One, Ruste Juxx, Darian The Great, Pawz One, Clever One, Tek Tha Supah Latin, WCTS, Kid Tsunami, Keith Science and many more from all across the globe.
As fans of authentic boom bap style Hip Hop ourselves, every track on this project in pretty much on point. We hate to highlight certain tracks on projects like these but if I had to picks the heavy hitters, it would be tracks like “SKOOLIN SUCKA MCS“, “FOUR ELEMENTS“, “CUSTOM MADE CREDENTIALS“, & “KUNG-FU DIALECT“. None the less the tracks not mentioned are still bangers.
Not many DJs these days make complete albums, and we definitely appreciate this new project by DJ Pressure. “Old Boys Club – Revival Of The Real” is one of those projects that has the sound that will never get old. The “Revival Of The Real” is definitely a term that DJ Pressure is doing!
