Album Review: Rough City (Los Angeles, CA) – End of the Beginning
Literally the true definition of Los Angeles Underground Hip Hop. Rough City has paved the way for all inspiring Hip Hop groups in the LA area with their newest album titled “End of the Beginning”. With a perfect sound that defines true conscious UG Hip Hop with their great beats, rhymes and most importantly messages inside every song. This album consists of 15 tracks of true fire incorporating new school with organic true old school creating a sound very unique for Hip Hop. Especially being a group, they work perfectly together with every song on this album.
The self titled track “End of the Beginning” is a real CLASSIC song along side “Clip Da Mic“, “Bradley Street“, “Strangers” & “Containment Theory“. Every song on this album is truly enjoyable and will be remembered once heard. So many copycat rappers and groups out there creating no more transparency in the Hip Hop game, so when we came across Rough City we were finally relieved that there is a serious LA Hip Hop group that takes this craft extremely serious………………….@UGHHBLOG
