Beat Tape Review: Blacksmith – “Old School, New School, No School Rules”
Blacksmith is a rising cutting edge Hip Hop producer out of Bristol, UK. Clearly from his production sound he is completely consumed with the true elements of what Underground Hip Hop is all about. His latest Beat Tape titled “Old School, New School, No School Rules” is a A+ collection of fresh modern yet old school sounding beats. Great guide to any MC trying to find some great beats to rhyme over with. Each track we can here his passion, integrity and impact that can be respected from coast to coast. Wow…It just seems to me that all the US indie Underground producers cant come close to Blacksmiths’s talent on the MPC. Beat making is a precious gift only a few talented people on this earth can actually pull off, and Blacksmith is clearly in that circle of quality producers.
Lets get into the tape…It has 13 tracks of all original material masterfully crafted by Blacksmith for the Underground Hip Hop community. Some dope beats to mention is “While I’m Away”, “Don’t Wanna” & “All I Know”. Overall he cant say that one beat is better then the other but these 3 beats are the ones that stood out to us the most. We are thankful to be exposed to some dope overseas beats and we have much respect for Blacksmith and we support his future in Hip Hop. To all beat collectors out there this project is a for sure COP to add to your collection and possibly be able to follow Blacksmith with his future ventures………………..@UGHHBLOG
