Bennie Bates – “Project 21” Mixtape (Review)
A few weeks back we came across a project by Bennie Bates that really blew me away. His new mixtape “Project 21” brings back real Hip Hop with that fast, precise and cohesive flow that all Hip Hop heads love. His sound is so comfortable, the way he raps and rides his beats are perfect. He has mastered the rhythm that all great music has to offer, allowing his music to be easily absorbed by new potential fans. Most importantly he has music to will get fans HOOKED with the first listen. For example, with his track “So Lit” as soon as I heard the first verse, I was personally hooked to his music! I feel these praises have a lot to do with his unique voice, his voice has to be one of the most potent and memorable Hip Hop voices for 2016!
His “Project 21” mixtape has 16 tracks, with a few skits mixed in between . The production value is top-notch, all the beats on this mixtape are true BANGERS. According to his Soundcloud profile page, he is from the Franklin, NJ area. We are proud to say that he has to be the best indie/underground artist from out that way. Overall this mixtape got our approval and we recommend this mixtape to all true Hip Hop fans worldwide. Don’t sleep on his hit single “So Lit”, its my favorite song and I’m sure it will be yours too!
