Capt. K’nuckles – “Somewhere You Won’t Find Me” (Album Review)

Chi-Town based artist Capt. K’nuckles releases an album titled “Somewhere You won’t Find Me“. The album begins with “Obmil” Abstract productions mixed with raw insane wordplay. Reminds me of a Tyler the creator production, I can definitely see this track thriving in the odd future demographic full of mosh pitts & Emo Hip-Hop.

The album continues with “Tsul’ Electronic Hip-Hop infused showing the artist nack for creating abstract vibes to zone out to. I Loved the way the vocal ambiance grabs your attention from the very start. If I had to correlate artist I would recommend fans of Swayze creators of “Buzzin” & “Corona & Lime”.

The album progresses forward and the track “Ynottulg” which screams FESTIVAL !! The electronic sounds added a switch in the atmosphere of the album creating a more universal & dynamic appeal. “Deerg” brings us back to the raw underground feel the album begin with, short & Precise like the whole tape, The lyrics on this album for sure carry it through for the Hip-Hop enthusiast.

“Regna” shows the expansive imagination of Capt. K’nuckles. The sweet 16 on top of abstract beats will do it every time, it would be dope to see Capt. Knuckles tour with the Odd future camp I can definitely see that manifesting with hard work. “Yesreh” is an electronic & HIp-Hop combination more so electric vibe I can see this playing at festivals like wanderlust etc.

“Ecneloviv” is like an angry artist throwing paint on the canvas & seeing what comes out. Some time its magic & sometimes its chaotic but this time around its a mix of mellow & intense drama. “Duarf” featuring Ace Cadet is like a conceptual song explaining, I might look small now but its based on my heart, again leading with an abstract core the underlining sound would rock a moshpit. As we reach the last song of the album called

“yrehcaert” which is a symphony with a poem read in a  monotoned vibe explaining the parallax of the introspection of finding oneself. As I listen carefully I start to understand the artist message in totality its always a constant reflection of trying to figure out who you are.
