Kash Ma$arri – “Rose From The Ashes” EP (Review)

This 8 track EP from the one and only Kash Masarri is exactly whats the streets of 2016 needs.  “Rose From The Ashes” is a solid project incorporating a smooth clever original sound with some melodic style rhymes with a spice of Chicago street knowledge. Kash’s cadence and lyrical delivery is truly unique along with his deep thought storytelling abilities is up to par with the best in the game.  Cant judge a book by its cover, It’s not a gangster record but the substance is truly gangsta if you catch my drift.  Most importantly this straight to the point 8 track EP is full of soul and consciousness mixed with real gangsta street knowledge catering to the hardest Hip Hop heads.

“Sumo”, “James Bond” & “No Pressure” are my favorite picks on this EP.  It’s an easy record to get consumed by.  “Gangsta” is more of a personal track for Kash Masarri allowing his fans to really understand where he comes from.  Overall his sound needs to be out there.  He is a rising indie Hip Hop artist who has nothing to prove only to push quality Hip Hop to the masses.  Chicago trap Hip Hop has a new face in 2016 and its called KASH MASARRI!!
