Meursault Beats – “Blank Dreams” Instrumental EP (Album Review)

Rising Portland, Oregon based underground Hip Hop producer Meursault Beats drops his latest instrumental EP titled “Blank Dreams“, which incorporates 5 extremely original, vibrant and melodic Hip Hop beats that will only make you ask for more!  His production style clearly is on whole different level, his sound is a great mix of Hip Hop, pop, blues and a little bit of a dark side.  The title of this EP “Blank Dreams” fits perfect with this project to say the least!  My favorite beats on this EP has to be “Moon Walking” and “Stuck”, these beats really showcases his unique original sound!  Not sure if I can tell if its analog or digital based, but regardless how he produces, these beats all banger in my book.  Underground Hip Hop allows producers to push the limits, not emulating sounds that are popular or of the standard norm.  We know for a facts that Meursault Beats  possibly put out his finest work yet.

Usually when you think of instrumental projects, right away you figure that it might be able to catch the attention on underground MC’s that are looking for dope beats to rap over.  This is not that kind of project, I actually prefer projects like this that focuses more on the beats itself rather than rap beats.  Story-telling in itself with beats this is all a real music enthusiast needs.  Make sure to peep “Blank Dreams” Instrumental EP today!
