Mixtape Review: “Bluntz N’ Bottlez” By Ca$tro Bluntz
Today we will be reviewing a project released late last year “Bluntz N’ Bottlez” by ATL’s Ca$tro Bluntz. With the new era sound currently oversaturating the market, it’s literally impossible to get exposed based off certain content, but we see that good music is still the best and only way to gain fame on any independent level. “Bluntz N’ Bottlez” is a 14 track mixtape featuring King TO, Jo$e 400, Fatz Montega reppin the trap lifestyle that many envy: 40s, blunts, the streets, and banging Hip Hop.
The production on this project was on point due to the theme and relevance of today’s music. We can’t find much info about the actual production credits, but CaStro didn’t do these beats no harm. Many times the lyrics make the beats complete, and this is definitly the case. Tracks to highlight are P.O.B. featuring King TO, “Keep Me Rollin Freestyle”, “Kill Me”, and “Serve it”. I’m not going to lie, even though I hate the music coming out from DJs spinning on commercial radios stations, they need to spin some CaStro Bluntz.
