Show Luciano – “Reasonable Clout” (EP REVIEW)

When is comes down to the new era sound with that gritty lyrical style, we got to give it up to Los Angeles based rapper on the rise, Show Luciano.  We came across his new EP “Reasonable Clout” as we saw his viral video campaign backed by Worldstar and No Jumper for “Lit Papi”.  We were a bit skeptical at first, but we love it when we dive deep into somebody’s project and find gems that resonate with underground heads like us.

Reasonable Cloutis a 10-track EP meaning he has a lot of more music coming in the near future.  The intro “Goat Simulator” is a banger to start the project, and as soon as “Real Life Player Shi*” came on, you automatically can tell the diversity of different styles of music you are about to encounter.

I would love to pick one song off the project I would put on my personal playlist, but there is a handful of them so I will pick 3.  It would come down to “So Tired”,  “Declaration”, and “22018” purely based on the raw lyricism on those songs.  Underground heads need to check out those jams.

It’s also refreshing to stumble across songs like “So Ghetto”, a song that definitly is on a overall musical tip.  We give this project a 8/10, definitely a higher score then expected after our first impression of Show with “Lit Papi”.  But I get it, many times dope lyricists need to make a commercial style single to garner attention, and once the attention is gained, you hit that audience with pure dopeness with the intention of turning the clout chasing youth into real Hip Hop heads.  “Reasonable Clout” accomplishes that mission in our books.
