Allen Poe (1/3 of Frankfort KY’s MC trio Basement Up) started out recording by overdubbing tapes in his bedroom in the mid 90s. Since then writing and rhyming have gone from hobby to passion for Poe. His music offers perspective and reflection from his own unique experiences as a son, husband, father, student, veteran and poet.

“Leave Ya Mind” is the 2nd single off Allen Poe’s upcoming LP “Pocket Full of Ohms” set to release Fall 2013. Poe links with Lexington, KY MCs Jay Elly and Eazy to paint 3 different, yet similar stories about women who are left feeling empty in relationships that are based only on physical attraction and materialism. Los Angeles producer Manifest provides the production.
