My Government name of course is Chris Halawani, Im working my way through Hip Hop to be addressed as Chase Dreams, the ones I associate with keep it at Chase.

Born in the beautiful city of angels, but like most ended up raised throughout the San Fernando Valley. I grew up in foster care through DCFS on the count of the childhood being rougher than most would just assume by looking my way. Again, like most, as a broken child i looked towards Hip Hop as a way out. From age 11 stepping into foster care i began my journey as a hidden MC, writing my songs an performing them to myself. I grew attached to Tupacs passion and Eminems past. So its safe to say my art has been sculpted through the listening of those artists.

As a child i was definitely always the odd ball of the group, the Mexican kid that looked White but was Black on the inside, all i was fighting for was to be viewed as an individual with his own identity, but society doesnt always agree with what truth is or what it should be.

I dance, i rap, i draw, i love. Im a young man, on a mission to Change the world, by only being the Change i feel is fit to get this generation back on track. God rules my heart and has lead me on a path with a mouth and a MIC. Music can move mountains, im just a soldier at the botton of the mountain pushing for a better future. CHANGE.
